In order to secure Germany’s energy supply into the future, we need a consistent energy strategy. This strategy must fulfill the conflicting goals of climate protection, supply security, and affordability – as well as meet the conditions of the market economy.

At the conference, the issues of environmental protection and sustainability as central challenges of the future were discussed with Federal Environment Minister Dr. Norbert Röttgen and a review of climate protection policy was instigated.
